- Our slotted beads feature a narrow, rectangular hook eyelet that increases the weight of the bead, secures the bead onto the hook eyelet (locks in place with less thread wraps) and maximizes shank space.
- This eyelet is preferred by many tyers for those reasons, but may run into issues with inexpensive, extra heavy wire hooks.
