Standard Slotted Eyelet

  • Tight, rectangular eyelet that almost locks into place on the hook eye.
  • Requires minimal thread wraps to secure the bead in place on the shank allowing for more control over the body taper of the fly
  • Difficult to use with heavy wire hooks or undersized beads.
  • Works with a limited number of hook sizes.

Universal Slotted Eyelet

  • Slightly larger rectangular eyelet, sits nice on the hook eye but not as tight as our standard eyelet.
  • Requires a few more thread wraps to secure in place, but still less than a round eyelet.
  • Works well with a variety of hooks sizes and wire diameters.
